Another great big THANK YOU to Miles from Edinburgh's Living Memory Association who spent an afternoon with us sharing memories and reminiscing about Edinburgh. A brilliant time was had by all once again!

A group from the Dove Centre recently spent a fantastic afternoon at Edinburgh's Living Memory Association. We can't recommend a visit enough and look forward to their visit to us in January next year!

A big thank you to all who were able to attend the Dove Centre's 20th Annual General Meeting - a successful day which was enjoyed by all! And thanks also to all St. John Ogilvie's Church for letting us use their church hall once again to host the event.

June 2011 - Want to donate to the Dove? You can with a text!
If you would like to donate to the Dove Centre you can do so via text message. Simply text Dove 22 followed by the amount you'd like to donate to 70070. So, for example, if you'd like to donate £3, start a new message, text "Dove 22 £3" (without the quotation marks) and send it to 70070. Easy as that! You can donate £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10.
Once you've sent your text you'll receive a confirmation text with information about how to add Gift Aid to your donation. This costs you nothing, but means the Dove Centre could receive an additional 25%.
This service is free for the Dove Centre to use and anyone on any mobile network can use it to donate to us. Your donation will be added to your monthly mobile phone bill or deducted from your mobile phone credit. You won't be charged for the text message either.

Burn's Day 2011
We had a fantastic Burn's Day celebration this year, and have to say a huge thank you to our chef Pam for creating such a fabulous feast, to Dove Centre member Jack for addressing the haggis, and to Christine and Paul for the brilliant entertainment! A wonderful time was had by all who were able to attend.
