The independent and friendly social activity centre for the over 50s

The Dove centre is the only dedicated centre for the over 50s in the Wester Hailes area of Edinburgh, seeking to support older people to remain as independent as they can be through a variety of socially inclusive transport, learning, social welfare, activities, health and volunteering opportunities.

The Dove Centre is open to the over 50s and our primary goal is to help maintain the well-being of people in this age group. We provide fully accessible transport for our members who live within our catchment area, offering a door-to-door service from home to the Dove Centre and back again.
